My client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for an experienced Flood Risk Consultant to join and expand the Water Team based in Welwyn Garden City.

It is essential that applicants have a BSc and/or MSc in a relevant discipline (e.g. Environmental Engineering, Geography or Hydrology) and have UK based experience completing Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 or 3.

Applicants are also required to have a keen interest in drainage and hydraulic modelling.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside within commutable distance of the office as you will be required to work from the office 3 days a week.

Typically the role will involve the following;

-Mentor junior team members.
-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.
-Residential, Commercial and Educational Projects.
-Drainage Strategies.
-Drainage Design using Infodrainage.
-Manage, Mentor, Motivate and support team members.
-Project Management.
-Prepare and review bid proposals.
-Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Team Members.
