Back to searchThey say there’s no I in team but it doesn’t always feel that way.Financial planners deserve their rewards, but they couldn’t do what they do without you. So shouldn’t those shared efforts result in a shared bonus?Well here, it does.At this business it’s a team effort. Planners are well looked after and highly respected, but they aren’t on a pedestal. And as they earn bonus, so do you. This bonus is directly linked to the production and income/bonus of the planning team. The more your expertise and support frees up planners time to write business, the bigger the share of bonus for everyone. How refreshing is that? You’ll be one of seven paraplanners who support seven IFAs. You don’t work on a 1-1 basis though, so there’s plenty of variety to your work. That work is carried out on a hybrid basis so you’ll only need to be in the office three days a week, a sign of the trust they place in their staff. And what’s more this is a firm that takes personal development seriously. If you’re a career paraplanner they’ll help you become the best paraplanner possible. If you fancy advice at some stage, given the growth of the company and their ambitions (featuring acquisitions), they can look at that too.Salary is to £60,000. Bonuses are healthy four figure sums. They have a 4 x death in service scheme and contribute an initial 4% to a pension, but it does go up by 1% each year to a contribution of 10%. Holidays are 28 days (including time off over Christmas when the office shuts). There is no critical illness cover yet but that's likely to be brought in.This is also a firm that doesn't just talk a good game about wellbeing, it acts. Through their EAP Mental Health programme you'll get support to boost your wellbeing and performance.  Here’s what you’ll need:You’ll be level 4 qualified and will know your way around areas of financial planning such as IHT planning (and possibly EIS/VCT).Your technical knowledge will be tested at interview so you'll need to know your stuff. And given this is a senior role so you’ll have a reasonable amount of Paraplanning experience. You’ll also be able to get to their offices in the Welwyn Garden City area three days a week   -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------There's no i in team but together everyone achieves more.
