We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient transportation of goods while maintaining clear communication with drivers and internal teams. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your organisational skills and attention to detail will be highly valued.

Coordinate and schedule transportation of goods, ensuring on-time deliveries.
Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and other internal teams to monitor the status of shipments.
Accurately perform data entry tasks to track shipments and update the system with relevant details.
Monitor supply chain activities, identifying any potential issues and taking corrective actions to ensure smooth operations.
Occasionally drive company vehicles, such as vans, to assist with deliveries if needed.

Skills Required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions.
High attention to detail, particularly in data entry.
Proficiency in using a computer and willingness to learn the MRP system (training will be provided).
A full UK driving license with the ability to drive a van if required.
Preferred Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in picking & packing or a similar logistics role (preferred but not required).
