Mechanic

Mechanic required for our client, a leading construction company. The mechanic will need to be commutable of Welwyn Garden City and be office based 5 days a week.

The Mechanic will be carrying out service and repairs to get vehicles back out on the road quickly, whilst still adhering to company standards and safety.

Mechanic Remuneration

• £42,000 - £45,000 DOE
• Holiday - 25 days plus Bank holidays
• Christmas shutdown – 3 days automatically deducted from annual leave entitlement
• Pension Scheme, client contribute 3% pension if Employee contributes 4%. 
• Life cover 2 x salary
• Full package discussed at interview stage

Mechanic Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles, engines, transmissions and run diagnostic tests
• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, vehicles, and equipment
• Carry out any other duties needed

Mechanic Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanic
• Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and their components
• Driving License
