Job Title: Social Housing Multi-Trader

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Social Housing Multi-Trader to join a large social housing contractor. As a Social Housing Multi-Trader, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in social housing properties. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our tenants by addressing their maintenance needs promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of maintenance and repair tasks in social housing properties, including but not limited to:
• Plumbing repairs
• Electrical repairs
• Carpentry work
• Painting and decorating
• Tiling
• Flooring repairs
• Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and address issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct thorough inspections to assess the scope of work required.
• Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and complies with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and hours worked.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed.
• Communicate effectively with tenants, providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• Qualification either NVQ or City and Guilds in either trade
• Proven experience in a similar multi-trade role, preferably in social housing maintenance.
• Proficiency in various trades, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and decorating.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Relevant trade certifications or licenses (if applicable).
