Position Overview

The Recruitment Manager will play a pivotal role in leading our recruitment team, ensuring we meet client needs effectively while maximising candidate engagement. You will drive recruitment strategies, oversee daily operations, mentor team members, and foster relationships with both clients and candidates, through business development activity. This role is ideal for someone with a strong recruitment background, leadership experience, and a passion for achieving high - performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a team of recruiters, ensuring they have the support, resources, and training needed to reach their targets and grow professionally. Training & Coaching new team members.
  • Strategic Recruitment Planning: Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to meet client demand, align with business objectives, and anticipate future growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored recruitment solutions to exceed expectations.
  • Operational Excellence: Review and refine recruitment processes for efficiency, consistency, and compliance, ensuring high-quality delivery at every stage of the candidate journey.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Track and analyse recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and team performance, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Candidate Experience: Oversee the entire candidate lifecycle, ensuring a positive and engaging experience, from sourcing and interviewing to placement and follow-up.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance: Drive process improvements to optimize recruitment workflows and ensure full compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Brand Promotion: Actively promote Smart10’s brand and reputation, networking within the industry and participating in recruitment events as needed. Conducting daily business development activity, with a view to convert new business clients.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experienced Leader: You have 3+ years of experience in recruitment with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role, within a recruitment agency.
  • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated success in meeting recruitment targets, building strong client relationships, and delivering results.
  • Strategic & Analytical: Skilled at developing recruitment strategies based on data and trends, with a strong understanding of recruitment metrics and reporting.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Able to engage, inspire, and communicate effectively with team members, clients, and candidates.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using recruitment platforms (e.g., CRMs, AI) and exploring new tech to optimise the recruitment process.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of recruitment and employment regulations and a commitment to maintaining high-compliance standards.
