Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £59,000 (OTE £65,000+)

Commutable: St Albans, Hertfordshire

Due to the expansion of this automated Manufacturing plant, a great opportunity has arisen for a multi skilled engineer, electrical ly biased. If successful in the role of the maintenance engineer; you would be expected to work on planned and reactive maintenance, be involved with projects and CI. This is an exciting time to the join the business as they are looking to invest a substantial amount of money into the plant on new machines, and a new CMMS System. The Engineering Manager is looking for a skilled maintenance engineer; who is looking for a career; he wants an engineer to come to him with ideas and changes that can help the running of the plant and is looking for someone who can work on their own and as part of a team, and also get involved in training other engineers on their speciality.

Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:

  • The successful maintenance engineer must hold an engineering qualification
  • Will need to have the flexible & adaptable mindset, driven by continuous improvement
  • Ability to fault-find and programme PLCS
  • Must have the willingness to grow and share knowledge within the Engineering Team
  • Must be happy to work a rotation of days and nights
