I am recruiting on behalf of my client in Welwyn Garden City looking for a Warehouse Team leader, who is motivated and hands-on to oversee daily operations, Lead and motivate a small team, and monitor performance and stock levels. This is a full-time, permanent position

Warehouse Team Leader - Duties
- Supervision of staff and team working in the workshop and warehouse.
- Support Manager in absence when required.
- Lead with health & Safety in day to day activities and identify any areas for improvements .
- Set and monitor targets and performance.
- Take part in Stock counting, inputting, ordering and admin.
- Oversee repairs, refurbishment and breakdowns of equipment.
- Support change and new initiatives.
Warehouse Team Leader - Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working with stock and database management system
- Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role or similar position.
- Experience in managing production activity and set team targets
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
- Strong communication and numeracy skills.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate mechanical equipment such as forklift trucks (Flexi or Reach license preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word & Excel.
