We are actively recruiting for a full-time Behaviour Mentor position in a wonderful school located in Welwyn Garden City. This role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

About the Role: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

  • Support children's learning and personal growth in a positive and encouraging environment.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging space for students to thrive as a Behaviour Mentor.
  • Build strong connections with students, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported both in and out of the classroom.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow staff to prioritise student progress and well-being as a Behaviour Mentor.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in the UK, with references available.
  • A passion for working with children, especially those with SEND.
  • Willingness to support SEND students as a Behaviour Mentor.
  • Must have a valid Child and Adult DBS or be willing to obtain one.
  • Reside within or near Welwyn Garden City or be able to commute.
