Quality Inspector - rotating shifts
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Salary: up to £29,500 + a 15% shift allowance - depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm - 1 week rotating (early finishes on a Friday!)
If you are an experienced Quality Inspector with experience within manufacturing, or if you have experience within manufacturing and would like to explore a career within quality then this role could be for you.

Quality Inspector - Key Responsibilities:
- First off, Last off, patrol and final inspections
- Maintaining of Inspection Records
- Goods Inwards Inspection of bought out parts
- Gauge and Measuring Equipment Calibration
- Maintain Statistical Process Control system
- Support the Quality Manager in non-conformance investigation
- Interact with shop floor team and provide guidance as required
- Interact with other departments in resolving quality issues
- Maintain Supplier C of C records
- Manage Non-Conforming product and maintain rejection registers
- Support visits from customers, suppliers and regulatory bodies as required
- Create First Article Inspection reports for new products
Quality Inspector - Skills and Experience required:
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Technical and logical mind setKeen to learn and develop personallyKeen to learn and develop personally
- Good attention to detail
- Background with working shift patterns would be ideal
- Able to use confidently Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Experience of using various inspection measuring equipment (micrometer, verniers, DTI’s shadowgraphs
- Conversant with Engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
