gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Project Manager to work at their facility based near Welwyn Garden City
Performance Objectives

Defining project management processes
Liaise with department managers to establish project requirements
Create project plan defining critical paths, milestones & KPIs
Identify resources required for execution of project start to finish
Schedule meetings with stakeholders for each project making sure projects remain on time and milestones are met
Ensure project stakeholders are proactively involved
Ensure personnel /stakeholders involved in projects are fully supported
Identify any purchase requirements for each project, ensure relevant purchase requisitions and purchase orders are raised and approved
Provide weekly status reports for each individual project
Proactively drive projects through ensuring they have value added to the business
Identify additional improvement projects across the business
Contribute towards and drive ongoing development of the project management function
Positively promote project management principles and their application
Influence stakeholders and manage their concerns
Developing ROI for all CAPEX projects

Person Specification

Degree educated in a project management discipline or minimum 5 years' experience in Project Management
Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project Software
Managing projects across several disciplines within a business
Managing projects from start to finish
Scheduling and chairing project meetings with all relevant stakeholders

Desirable

Knowledge of Aerospace Quality Management Systems
Manufacturing engineering processes
