JOB- Quality Manager (Medical - ISO 13485)
LOCATION-Welywyn Garden City
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £50,000 to £70,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our clients R&D team in Welwyn Garden City. Our client is a well-established company in thepharmaceuticalsector, and they are looking for a dedicated professional to lead their quality assurance and control processes.

The Quality Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager within the medical/ pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Relevant qualifications in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field (BEng, HND, CQI, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of quality standards and regulations (ISO 13485, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency with quality management systems and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
The Quality Manager role will involve:
  • Leading and managing the quality assurance and control processes across the manufacturing site
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Conducting audits, inspections, and quality reviews to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues
  • Managing non-conformance reports (NCRs) and driving corrective and preventive actions
  • Providing training and support to staff on quality standards and procedures
  • Preparing quality reports and presenting findings to senior management
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining high-quality standards
