About the role:
Join our client, a renowned holiday company specialising in worldwide group tours, as their new Flights & Travel Consultant. In this pivotal role, you'll be part of a friendly and supportive Flights and Operations team, ensuring every tour is planned and executed to perfection. Your work will help create unforgettable experiences for travellers.
Your key responsibilities:
- Book, ticket and manage flight requests, including extras like ad-hoc seating, upgrades, and domestic add-ons.
- Handle variable fares, ticket reissues and refunds.
- Manage schedule changes with suppliers and clients.
- Create precise travel documents and flight manifests on time.
- Provide outstanding support through email, phone and other channels.
- Generate reports and statistics for internal and external stakeholders.
What the client is looking for:
- Background in travel operations, sales support and administration.
- High accuracy in work and strong numeracy and writing skills.
- Familiarity with GDS systems, Amadeus or Galileo and solid IT skills.
- Exceptional communication and service delivery.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Proactive approach with a strong sense of responsibility.
