About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Product Assurance Equipment Engineering team, supporting a wide range of electronic equipment in development.

In this role, you will play a key part in a well-established team, working alongside Product Assurance Managers on major projects. Your focus will be on reducing product non-conformance, ensuring efficient equipment delivery, and enhancing customer satisfaction through reliable products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and maintain documentation for Equipment Quality planning.
  • Ensure that Electronic Engineering BMS procedures are followed.
  • Plan and conduct Product Life Cycle reviews, ensuring actions are managed effectively.
  • Oversee Product Non-Conformance management, including facilitating the Non-conformance process and supporting investigations into design or manufacturing defects. Provide summary reports and data analysis to senior management.
  • Identify, communicate, and address quality risks for in-house equipment to reduce risks and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in engineering process improvements and conduct local audits to support compliance and process enhancements.
  • Organize and deliver quality-focused micro-training sessions to boost process awareness and team competencies.

What We're Looking for:

  • Preferably, an HNC/HND in Engineering or Quality Assurance or substantial relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, ideally within Electronic Engineering.
  • Familiar with current problem-solving and improvement techniques (such as 8D, RCA, DMAIC).
  • Solid understanding of the product lifecycle, particularly in development.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SAP QM systems, and document management tools.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvements and work proactively.
