We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join a thriving multidisciplinary civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to advance their career by gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative and supportive environment, working on a variety of exciting and complex projects.

Key Responsibilities for this Structural Engineering role:

  • Assist in designing and analysing structural systems across diverse building types, including residential and commercial projects.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure successful project delivery from initial concept to completion.
  • Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and provide technical support.
  • Work closely with clients, contractors, and other disciplines to achieve project goals.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop innovative solutions to address structural challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:
To succeed in this Structural Engineering role, you should have:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Ideally 3-4 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
