This award winning, independent developer client is seeking to appoint a talented Design Manager / Architect to join their planning and development team.
Candidates main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting feasibility studies for land-bids.
- Preparing concept architectural designs to suit the land, providing innovative designs that align with project goals and local planning regulations.
- Preparing detailed and accurate planning application packages, including all Architectural supporting documentsThe successful candidate will be proficient in navigating the complexities of local planning regulations, presenting to stakeholders, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve successful outcomes.
- Providing Technical support in providing legal plans for live projects and general support to the Technical Director.
This would ideally suit architects who, preferably arb or RIBA qualified, from a practice whose client's are primarily developers and who have worked on stages 1 to 3 and the planning process. Candidates must have a proven track record in conducting feasibility studies and securing planning consent.
This is a new role for the business and is a great opportunity not just for architects from consultancy to move client's side but also to further shape the role.
