About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Qualified Children's Senior Practitioner to join our CLA team. This role involves leading complex cases, mentoring junior staff, and championing innovative practices to transform the lives of children in care.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex cases to provide tailored support for children and young people in care.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to uphold high service standards.
  • Conduct detailed assessments and oversee the development of care plans.
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and health professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Work closely with the Children in Care Council to refine and enhance services.


About You

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in children's social work.
  • Expertise in care planning, assessments, and working with complex family dynamics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft IT packages.
  • A full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
