Commercial Energy Assessor - remote

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Assessor to join their team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SBEM assessments and be capable of providing accurate energy assessments and compliance calculations for commercial properties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct SBEM assessments for a variety of commercial properties to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide energy performance certificates (EPCs) for commercial buildings and offer advice on energy efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with project teams, architects, and engineers to assess energy usage and recommend cost-effective solutions for optimization.
  • Keep up to date with building regulations, energy efficiency requirements, and sustainability trends.
  • Prepare clear, detailed reports and documentation for clients.
  • Guide clients throughout the assessment process, from initial consultation to the submission of final reports.

Key Requirements:

  • SBEM experience is essential.
  • Ideally, hold a Level 4 NDEA (Non-Domestic Energy Assessor) qualification.
  • Ideally, be a qualified OCDEA (On-Construction Domestic Energy Assessor).
  • Proven experience in conducting commercial energy assessments and providing EPCs.
  • Strong understanding of building energy efficiency, sustainability, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
