Plumber / Water Hygiene Engineer
35k Basic Salary (negotiable and depending on experience) + Company Van + Pension + Benefits
Location - Hertfordshire / Bedfordshire
Alecto Recruitment Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Plumber and Water Hygiene Engineer to join one of our clients, who are a leading and well-established provider of Mechanical, Electrical and Building Services and with over 20 years industry experience.
You'll need to live North Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire based, therefore commutable to areas such as Letchworth, Stevenage, Luton, Royston, Biggleswade, Hitchin, Sandy etc.
Job Summary:
- Working as a Mobile Plumbing and Water Hygiene Engineer throughout Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
- Responsible for carrying out general plumbing services such as; - weekly / monthly flushing and water temperature checks, repairing toilets, fitting taps, fitting radiators, minor blockages, running pipework, TMV servicing etc.
- Keeping water service logbooks up to date.
- Assisting with some handyman work such as adjusting doors, minor decorating etc.
- Working in commercial properties such as Schools, Courts, Warehouses, Offices, Care Homes etc.
- Potential opportunity to progress into gas/boiler work further down the line.
Key Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer or Plumber.
- You'll need to hold relevant qualifications in plumbing (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Hold a UK driving licence.
- Will need to be commutable to areas such as Luton, Stevenage, Hitchin or Biggleswade.
Package on offer:
- 35k Base Salary (potentially negotiable subject to experience)
- Company Van, for business use
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays plus your Birthday off
- Working hours Monday to Friday 8am-4pm (8hrs on site) plus 1 hour paid travel per day.
- Be part of a call out rota system which is 1 week in 6
