Role: Duty Manager

Location: Campus East Office, WGC - AL8 7PH

Pay Rate: £14.90 ph

Job Type: Full time, 37 hours per week

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Duty Manager to manage the Centre's daily operations, including facility management, service delivery, staff supervision, and support. Ensure the Centre is prepared, safe, and accessible for all users, including Centre activities, third-party rentals, and key stakeholders.

In this rewarding role, you will:

  • Lead by Example: Manage the daily operations of the center, including facility management, service delivery, and staff supervision, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee shift schedules, set up facilities and equipment, and ensure everything is in safe working order.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Welcome new and existing clients, address inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Finances: Handle bookings, collect payments, reconcile daily takings, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Plan and Supervise Activities: Assist with planning, running, and supervising center-run activities, including holiday clubs and programs for all ages.
  • Champion Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, report any issues, and maintain a clean and secure environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • GCSE level or equivalent with Grade C or above in English and Maths, OR substantial experience in a related field.
  • Experience planning and running structured activities for children or adults.
  • Practical experience handling cash, performing reconciliations, and cashing up.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms for marketing and advertising.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
