M&E Supervisor

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an M&E Supervisor to join an established FM provider. You will responsible for a team of 7 people.

About the role of M&E Supervisor

The role is based in a newly built data centre in Essex/Hertforshire. The ideal candidate will live within a 25 mile radius to the site.

Responsibility for the role of M&E Supervisor

• Oversee all works issued and carried out by the day technicians
• To ensure works issued to the day technical staff consisting of Planned or Reactive maintenance is completed to a high standard.
• To ensure all work activities are collated & reported accurately to the facility management.
• You may need to be involved in the maintenance which is listed as below
• Fault find of infrastructure Equipment and Systems
• Reactive tasks
• Inspections and analysis
• Commissioning and Benchmarking
• Installation of New infrastructure Equipment
• Decommissioning of Retired infrastructure Equipment
• Power and Bonding of Server Racks
• Chemical Handling
• Updates to Maintenance Documentation

Requirement for the role of M&E Supervisor

• Qualification in building services mechanical and electrical engineering to a minimum of City & Guilds
• 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers registration
• A good working knowledge of building services trades - UPS, Diesel Generators, Plumbing, HVAC systems and Refrigeration
• Knowledge and awareness of CAFM systems and their use
• HV/LV certified
• Hold a IOSH/H&S certificate
• Data centre knowledge
