Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and assessing small scale major developments, complex minor applications, and intricate householder projects
- Working independently to deliver high-quality assessments and planning decisions
- Demonstrating a strong track record of high performance in planning and development management
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of planning applications and decisions
- Providing informed recommendations and guidance to stakeholders
- Reviewing and preparing reports on planning applications and policy
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective planning outcomes
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in development management, particularly handling small scale major and complex minor applications
- Proven ability to work on complex householder applications
- Demonstrable ability to work confidently and independently
- Track record of high performance in planning decision-making processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
