General Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic General Manager to join a global Food Manufacturing powerhouse and be an integral part in them further market share in their given sector.  This really is an exciting role where the successful candidate will be at the forefront of technology within a fast paced, £billion market and working for an organisation whose eyes are firmly set on becoming the industry leader!

Reporting into the MD you will bean accomplished and driven General Manager / Head of Operations / General Manager / Factory Manager / Site Manager and will assume full autonomy for the running of this state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.  This business is currently going through a period of growth with so represents an excellent time to join as they look to invest 10s of £millions over the next few years to achieve their goal of 50% growth within the next 5 years.

In terms of background, you will have extensive experience within a Food Manufacturing environment – and even better if you have either Packing or Bagging experience and exposure to Rovema Packaging Machinery.

Inherent in any senior role is the ability to drive cultural and operational change and as such you will have a track record of success of delivering sustainable change through Lean Manufacturing principles.
