Job Title: Senior Town Planner

With multiple offices throughout the UK, they work on high-profile developments as well as smaller, complex proposals that benefit significantly from there planning expertise.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Town Planner with broad planning experience and a strong commercial mindset to join our Hertfordshire office. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage diverse projects, build client relationships, and contribute to business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare written fee proposals and conduct planning history research
- Undertake site visits, appraisals, and provide clear planning advice
- Manage pre-application advice requests, planning applications, appeals, and submissions
- Coordinate project teams and provide mentoring to junior staff
- Develop client relationships and actively participate in business development initiatives
- Represent clients at planning committee meetings and inquiries
Essential Requirements:
- RTPI Chartered Planner or eligible for membership
- Full UK driving license (exceptions considered)
- Strong understanding of planning work, commercial projects, and consultancy business
