Their team of skilled professionals is made up of architects and a senior town planner who you would be supporting on their growing portfolio of projects.
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Town Planner to join our collaborative, close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a planner with a minimum of 6 months of professional experience to gain valuable exposure to a diverse range of planning projects. The ideal candidate will be able to come in an hit the ground running with a passion for planning, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to work alongside architects to deliver high-quality planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
路Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals, and other planning documents.
路Support senior staff in project management, research, and report writing.
路Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to ensure effective communication and successful project outcomes.
路Conduct site assessments and provide advice on planning policy, regulations, and compliance.
路Collaborate with architects and the wider team to ensure integrated project delivery.
路Stay up-to-date with the latest planning regulations and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
路A degree in Town Planning (RTPI accredited) or equivalent.
路Minimum of 6 months of experience in a planning role, ideally within the private sector or consultancy.
路Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and relevant legislation.
路Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
路Proficient in using planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
路Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team.
