MANUFACTURING MANAGER | HERTFORDSHIRE | Competitive Salary

Blackfield Associates are supporting a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation to recruit for a newly created Manufacturing Manager to lead and enhance production operations at their site in the Hertfordshire area. This is a unique opportunity to shape and streamline processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and innovation in a dynamic environment.

This role involves managing production resources, overseeing recruitment and training, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with supply chain, engineering, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop manufacturing operations for optimal performance.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a skilled workforce.
  • Ensure training programmes currently in place for the Manufacturing Operators are fit for purpose.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments for seamless production flow.


Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, specifically with OSD products is a must.
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills are required as you will be working with various departments.
  • Familiarity with GMP, MHRA, and H&S regulations.
  • Supply chain planning understanding would be advantageous.
