Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Locum Pharmacist to join the team at an NHS hospital in Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified pharmacist looking to gain experience in a hospital setting. The role is based within the dispensary, and previous hospital experience is not required. We are looking for a dedicated professional to provide high-quality pharmaceutical services as part of the hospital’s dispensing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Providing medication advice and support to patients and healthcare staff
- Ensuring compliance with NHS guidelines and policies
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective use of medicines
Requirements:
- GPhC registered pharmacist
- No previous hospital experience required; full support and training will be provided
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care
Hours & Rates:
- 3 days per week
- Hourly rate: £24 - £28 per hour, dependent on experience
