Hunter AHP are currently seeking an experienced Locum Dispensary Pharmacist to join a NHS hospital team in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a hospital setting while benefiting from flexible working hours and competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications and provide advice on their use.
- Ensure the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care.
- Participate in stock management and ensure the pharmacy maintains a smooth workflow.
- Support the training of pharmacy staff and trainees as needed.
Key Requirements:
- GPhC registered Pharmacist.
- Previous experience working in a dispensary setting (NHS experience preferred, but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to commit to at least 3 days per week (with availability for 4 or 5 days considered).
