Hunter AHP have an exciting new opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant with an NVQ Level 2 qualification to join a highly respected NHS Hospital in Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care in a dynamic hospital setting.
- Assist the pharmacy team in providing high-quality pharmaceutical services to hospital patients.
- Accurately dispense medication under the supervision of qualified pharmacy staff.
- Provide support with the preparation, labelling, and distribution of medicines.
- Assist with stock management, including ordering, storing, and maintaining medications.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control.
- Provide customer service and advice to patients and hospital staff as necessary.
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (essential).
- Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Assistant, ideally within an NHS setting (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for patient care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Hourly Rate: £14 - £15 per hour, depending on experience.
