Hunter AHP Resourcing is looking for a reliable and dedicated Locum ACT Pharmacy Technician to join an NHS hospital team in Hertfordshire.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and support the dispensing of medications in the hospital
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of prescriptions to patients and clinical teams
- Lead and manage a team of pharmacy assistants and junior technicians
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulations
- Work collaboratively with clinical teams to ensure effective and safe medicine management
- Provide advice to healthcare professionals on pharmaceutical matters
- Must be a qualified Pharmacy Technician, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification is essential
- Previous experience working in an NHS hospital or clinical environment
- Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Competitive hourly rate (£15 - £20 per hour depending on experience)
- Ongoing contract with potential for extension
