About the role

Key responsibilities for the role will include the following:

  • Overseeing Daily Operations: Managing production processes and schedules to ensure efficient, timely, and high-quality output, minimizing downtime and meeting customer delivery timelines.
  • Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts, overseeing procurement of components, and leading stock-taking activities.
  • Team Leadership: To lead, mentor, and motivate the production and warehouse teams, ensuring onboarding, training, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, support audits, conduct risk assessments, and promote a culture of safety.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement lean manufacturing techniques and other improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Facilities Oversight: Manage building maintenance, coordinate with contractors, and ensure proper functioning of equipment and utilities.
  • Communication and Reporting: Act as a liaison between management and teams, prioritizing workflows and ensuring clear communication of goals and expectations.


Education and Experience

  • 5+ years in manufacturing/engineering, optimizing production processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in team management and development.
  • Proven problem-solving experience with strong decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in planning, quality control, and KPI management.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing (5S) and driving innovation.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is advantageous.
