About the Role
Atrium Associates is recruiting for a client of ours, a leading construction and development company, renowned for delivering high-quality, sustainable, and innovative projects across the UK. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join their team in Hertfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual to manage and oversee the successful delivery of a variety of construction projects, from inception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead project teams, ensuring clear communication, task delegation, and motivation to achieve project objectives.
- Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to on-site.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and report on project progress, addressing any issues promptly and implementing corrective actions, as necessary.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed of project status and developments.
- Quality Control: Oversee the quality assurance process, ensuring all work meets the company's high standards and complies with industry regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry (minimum of 3 years).
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
- Strong understanding of construction project management principles, including cost management, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- A relevant degree or qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Project Management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) would be a plus.
