Job Description: Dunbar Education is currently seeking a passionate and adaptable Humanities Subjects Supply Teacher to join our pool of educators for placement in a reputable Secondary School located in Hertfordshire. As a supply teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students across a range of humanities subjects, fostering a positive learning environment and promoting academic growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and policies.
  • Plan and prepare dynamic lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and personal development.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting mutual respect and positive interactions among students.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative methods, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months of teaching experience within the UK education system.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • Specialism or strong background in one or more humanities subjects (e.g., History, Geography, Religious Studies, Sociology).
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities.
