Are you based in or around Welwyn Garden City?We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Safety Partnership Co-Ordinator to join our Resident Services and Climate Change team on a temporary basis.In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Play a key role in developing and delivering multi-agency projects that promote community safety.
  • Utilize your expertise to consult and engage with diverse groups, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Apply your understanding of safety-related issues to navigate sensitive situations and act professionally.
  • Manage projects effectively, adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Contribute to creating a safer and more secure environment for residents.

Top 5 Requirements:1. Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification and/or experience in community safety or a related field.2. Proven experience in developing and delivering multi-agency projects, applying sound project management principles.3. Experience of effectively engaging with a range of people in diverse settings, building strong relationships and fostering collaboration.4. A strong understanding of the sensitivity of safety-related issues and the resilience to handle encounters with members of the public who may be distressed.5. Experience using consultation and engagement methods appropriate to community safety work.This is a 12-week temporary position, offering:

  • Hourly Rate: £21.09 - £22.65 (Grade J, equivalent to £40,689 - £43,690 per annum).
  • Annual Leave: 24 days + Bank Holidays + Privilege Day (pro-rata)
  • Hours: 37 hours per week (full-time).
  • Location:Campus East Office, WGC - AL8 7PH
