About the Role
As a Social Worker in the Looked After Children team, you will:
- Care Planning & Reviews: Develop and review care plans, ensuring that the needs and wishes of the children in care are prioritised.
- Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs, ensuring tailored support is provided.
- Direct Work with Children: Build strong, trusting relationships with children in care, advocating for their well-being and supporting their emotional development.
- Court Work: Prepare reports and attend court hearings as necessary, representing the best interests of the child.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multi-agency teams to deliver holistic, child-focused support.
- Complex Caseload Management: Manage a diverse caseload, offering professional expertise in Child Protection, Looked After Children, and Family Support.

About You
To join us, you'll need:
- Social Work England registration and a recognised qualification in Social Work.
- At least 1 year of post-ASYE experience.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance, and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
