Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Hertford ( on-site, must be commutable )
Salary: 30-40k (DOE)

My client are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic software developer with a strong track record in building and enhancing workforce platforms. Experienced in developing new features, creating custom solutions, and troubleshooting complex issues to ensure seamless performance.
Skilled in application development, with hands-on experience across a variety of programming languages and technologies. Works closely with experienced engineers to contribute to multiple software projects, continuously improving and refining systems to meet business needs. Thrives in collaborative environments, bringing problem-solving expertise and a keen eye for innovation to every project.
Responsibilities:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software development, covering design, coding, and testing.
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript.
- Skilled at navigating and working within complex, existing codebases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle challenging software issues.
- Effective team player, collaborating closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Clear and concise communicator, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and software quality.
- Passionate about staying up to date with emerging technologies and development methodologies.
