Responsibilities for the role of Contractor Quantity Surveyor

  • Precontract
      • Estimation and cost planning.
      • Tender work packages.
      • Tender appraisal and recommendation.
      • Sub-contract award.
      • Main contract award.
  • Post contract
      • Monthly valuations and cashflow forecast.
      • Monthly CVR’s.
      • Cost and valuation management.
      • Sub-contract valuation and final account agreements.
      • Overall final account agreement.

Requirements:

  • Ideally 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Contractor QS experience 
  • A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience essential in NEC and JCT forms of contract.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Full driving licence
