We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our retail team, providing support with accounting and finance duties in our vibrant, inclusive environment.

Description
This role is 5 days in the office.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Provide support in budgeting and forecasting.
- Conduct variance analysis and financial reporting.
- Assist with year-end audit preparation.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of accounting processes.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Support in other ad hoc finance projects as required.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Part-qualified or studying towards an ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to develop within the retail industry.
