Based near Wembley, North West London our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. The role is office based 5 days a week.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong prior accounts payable/receivable experience who is eager to advance their career. It offers the opportunity to contribute to the company's growth by managing an efficient finance function while playing a key role in shaping and influencing business decisions.

The company has an extremely impressive track record since its inception with well-renowned client list. The business is a market leader in its sector and is now looking to invest in the future by bringing in this individual to their ever-expanding team.

The successful candidate will have good level of transactional experience but may have experience in other areas as well. The role will consist of timely financial reporting, analysis and support, including transaction processing and relevant system maintenance and development. They will play a key role in supporting the business in maximising profitability, realisation and efficiency.

Duties:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Provide timely and insightful reports to aid business decision-making and goal achievement.
  • Management Accounts: Prepare weekly accounts, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Company Performance Analysis: Identify risks and areas of concern, supporting sales strategy development and measurement.
  • Payroll & Appraisals: Generate timecard analysis to support performance reviews.
  • Strategic & Budget Planning: Assist in strategy reports, forecasting, and budgeting with senior management.
  • Accounts Payable: Oversee supplier invoices on Xero, approve payments, and manage payment runs.
  • Expenses & Month-End Processing: Handle internal expenses, validate submissions, and process month-end journals.
  • Revenue & Cash Flow Management: Ensure timely invoicing, assist in debt collection, and review financial statements.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Prepare VAT returns, year-end processes, and maintain the fixed assets register.
