Our client who is a successful HVAC company that own 3 different manufactures and operates across 65 countries and has been in operation for over 100 years are seeking a versatile Commissioning Engineer to join their project delivery team. You will be site based in NW10 working on Date Centres in the area.

Our client are also seeking Junior Commissioning Engineers to work alongside the senior Members of the team.

  • Responsible for carrying out the Air Handling Unit (AHU) commissioning tasks according to the established script.
  • Responsible for working with the Project Manager to ensure that the site team complies with the health and safety measures required for each site activity, in line with the client's expectations and requirements.
  • Working with other commissioning engineers/senior engineers you will be responsible for helping to deliver the Commissioning Programme in the agreed timeframe and budget.
  • Responsible for highlighting any risks of resources, finances, and program.






Commissioning Engineer Position Requirements

  • Will need to qualify an electrical competence.
  • Highly desirable previous experience in HVAC.
  • Must understand the principles of airflow and taking measurements, i.e. electricity, pressure, temperature, humidity.
  • Working at height is required so MEWP and Harness experience is preferred
  • Demonstrable experience of HVAC and MODBUS systems.
  • Need to hold or have previously held competence cards/completed training on; using harnesses (ipaf), building and using podiums steps/work platforms, MEWPs, step ladders, etc.
  • Hold a current and valid CSCS card.
  • Must possess good problem-solving skills, especially with mechanical, electrical and control systems.
  • Full driving license
  • Experience and knowledge of Data Centres is highly desirable as they will know the nature of the ASHREA Commissioning L1-L5 stages.
  • Holds a current SSSTS or SMSTS card, but not essential


Commissioning Engineer Position Remuneration

  • Upwards of £50k upwards depending on experience
  • 25 days plus bank
  • Overtime available paid 1.5 &2x
  • Training on our specific AHU systems and controls will be provided at our factories in Wurzen, Germany
