Campus Data Centre Manager - London

An established and rapidly expanding data centre operator is seeking an experienced Campus Data Centre Manager to lead the operations of a large-scale site. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day performance, customer satisfaction, compliance, and financial success.

You'll oversee all aspects of on-site operations including engineering, facilities management, health and safety, security, and vendor management. This position requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a commitment to service excellence - all while maintaining full P&L accountability for the campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and efficient data centre services.

  • Manage vendor relationships, operational processes, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, embedding a service-driven culture.

  • Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance, and support sustainability goals.

  • Collaborate with investment, finance, and project management teams to ensure smooth operations and future site developments.

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in data centre or critical infrastructure management.

  • Proven track record in people leadership and third-party vendor management.

  • Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure (UPS, generators, chillers).

  • Technical or engineering qualification preferred.

  • Experienced in managing P&L, budgets, and performance metrics.

  • Skilled in customer relationship management and problem-solving under pressure.
