1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant - Brent, Northwest London - Immediate Start As a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students with a variety of additional needs on a 1:1 basis, providing support and assistance to help the student make progress in their academic and personal development. You will work closely with the teacher to ensure that the student's needs are being met, and maintain accurate records of the student's progress and achievements.Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a student with SEND on a 1:1 basis
  • Providing support and assistance to help the student make progress in their academic and personal development
  • Working closely with the teacher to ensure that the student's needs are being met
  • Supporting the student throughout the day, both in and out of the classroom
  • Maintaining accurate records of the student's progress and achievements
  • Liaising with parents and other professionals to ensure that the student is receiving the best possible support and care

Requirements:

  • Experience working with autism
  • DBS on the update service
  • Able to start ASAP
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to the welfare and development of students
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
