Teaching Assistant with Personal Care

Location: Brent Contract: Full-TimeSalary: Competitive, based on experience

Remedy are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with Personal Care experience to join a supportive team in Brent. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality support to pupils in the classroom, ensuring they are engaged and progressing in their learning.- Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting, feeding, and mobility support, while maintaining the dignity and respect of pupils.- Support the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities, adapting resources to meet individual needs.- Encourage independence and social development, building positive relationships with pupils.- Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback to the teaching team and parents as required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:- Experience working with children in an educational or care setting, ideally with personal care responsibilities.- A caring and patient approach, with the ability to build rapport with pupils and help them feel comfortable and supported.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.- A commitment to promoting an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
