Are you an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role? A primary school in North-West London is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) from April 2025.

What is an ARP?

An Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) is a specialised unit within a mainstream school, designed to provide tailored support for children with special educational needs (SEN). The ARP works closely with the wider school community to create an inclusive learning environment, offering individualised interventions to help pupils thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils within the ARP.
  • Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement individual learning plans.
  • Use a range of communication strategies (e.g., PECS, Makaton) to support students.
  • Encourage independence and confidence in learning and social interactions.
  • Support students with behavioural and emotional regulation strategies.
  • Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
