A Commissioning Engineer is required for our client who is a successful HVAC manufacturer that operates across 65 countries and has been in operation for over 100 years to join their project delivery team. You will be site based in NW10 working on a Date Centre.

The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for carrying out the Air Handling Unit (AHU) commissioning tasks according to the established commissioning script. You will be working with the Project Manager and other commissioning engineers/senior engineers and be responsible for helping to deliver of the Commissioning Programme in the agreed timeframe and budget.

This role may involve travel abroad to various Data Centres across Europe. Additional travel to the company's factory in Germany will be required.

Commissioning Engineer Position Requirements
  • The Engineer will need to hold a qualification in an electrical
  • Highly desirable previous experience in HVAC.
  • Must understand the principles of airflow and taking measurements, i.e. electricity, pressure, temperature, humidity.
  • Working at height is required so MEWP and Harness experience is preferred and they must be comfortable in doing this.
  • Demonstrable experience of HVAC and MODBUS systems.
  • The ability to complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Must hold; CSCS, IPAF/PASMA
  • Possess problem solving skills, especially with mechanical, electrical and controls system
  • Living in or close to London area (NW10).
  • Experience and knowledge of Data Centres is highly desirable as they will know the nature of the ASHREA Commissioning L1-L5 stages.
  • Holds a current SSSTS or SMSTS card, but not essential.
Commissioning Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Up to £50k depending on experience
  • 25 days plus bank - option to purchase to 5 days holiday
