Head of Finance
My client is a Local Authority in North West London who are looking to appoint their Head of Finance on an Interim basis.
About the role:
Based in London (Hybrid):
To act as the lead professional financial adviser for budgets of up to £250m of considerable technical and operational complexity. Leading, managing and co-ordinating financial processes across the organisation.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £700+ per day, inside IR35.
*negotiable based on experience

- Contract type: Contract (40 hrs a week)
- Hours: 08:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality financial accounting, strategic management accounting, budgeting and financial planning and commercial advice to a department or function within the council.
- Provide advice directly to and manage relationships with leading Members, Strategic Directors and other senior managers across the council, and to manage comparable relationships with major partners and contractors.
- To take a leading responsibility, within own area of work, for identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency and enhance financial control.
About you:You will have the following experiences:
- Qualified CCAB Accountant or Equivalent Relevant Finance Qualification.
- Extensive knowledge of one or more specialist and complex areas of either technical accounting or relevant sector knowledge.
