**Key Responsibilities**

The Estimator will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

- Preparing quotations and tender returns
- Researching material, plant, and labour costs
- Interpreting drawings and construction materials to propose and verify estimates
- Liaising with and appointing suppliers and subcontractors
- Tracking project costs and variations against the budget
- Preparing interim and contract valuations
- Interfacing with clients throughout project durations, attending meetings, and networking
- Populating bills of quantities and producing take-offs
- Managing the financial and technical aspects of contracts, including procurement, invoicing, and payment
- Ensuring productivity targets are agreed upon and issued before the contract starts
- Managing the billing process to minimise capital usage
