This very progressive and successful local organisation requires a Payroll Co-ordinator to manage the payroll function from instigation point through to final production and staff payment.

Some of your duties will include:

- Managing payroll function from instigation point through to successful employee payment delivery

- Preparing monthly payroll, setting up starters and leavers on the system and processing P45s and P46s

- Completing all statutory PAYE deductions including SSP, SMP, SPP, sickness and holiday pay

- Preparing wage slips and producing BACS payment reports for Finance Manager to approve

- Reconciling payroll at month end and preparing PAYE returns and payments for the HMRC

- Managing any payroll queries that occur and ensuring all issues are fully investigated and resolved
