We're seeking a motivated and experienced Virtual Tutor to provide one-on-one online lessons for our child. Whether your expertise is in English, Maths, Science, or another subject, we'd love to work with someone who can provide personalised support in a convenient virtual setting.
What We Need:
- Expertise Across Subjects: We're looking for a tutor who can assist with core subjects such as English, Maths, Science, and more, tailored to our child's current academic level.
- Engaging Virtual Lessons: The ideal tutor will create dynamic and interactive lessons using online tools and resources to keep our child engaged and focused.
- Personalised Learning Plan: We're looking for someone who can adapt lessons to our child's individual learning style and needs, helping them progress at their own pace.
- Flexible Scheduling: We need a tutor who can work with our child's schedule and provide lessons at convenient times through online platforms like Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet.
- Effective Communication: Strong communication skills are essential for creating a positive learning environment and providing regular feedback on progress.
This tutor role involves:
- planning lessons and resources around the student's needs. This could be in the core subjects or life skills;
- plan and deliver engaging sessions.
- apply skills to raise pupils' confidence.
- manage children with challenging behaviour.
- track the learning progress of the student to achieve their desired learning outcomes and being able to provide monthly reports.
- potentially engage in outdoor activities such as learning about plants and nature with the student,
- learn about visuals to communicate in some cases.
