Role Purpose:
Lead the M&E Team to ensure Network Homes achieves statutory compliance in areas such as Gas Servicing, Lift Maintenance, Asbestos, Electrical Testing, and more. Manage damp and water ingress across the portfolio and contribute strategically to the Customer Services Directorate.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Planned Mechanical and Electrical Works including Gas Servicing, Lift Replacements, and more.
  • Ensure statutory compliance through maintenance and inspection contracts.
  • Liaise with Customer Services for health and safety risk assessments.
  • Oversee dampness and water ingress activities.
  • Attend Resident and Committee meetings, presenting operational reports.
  • Use customer feedback for service improvement.
  • Ensure value for money through effective cost evaluation and quality assurance.
  • Develop new policies and procedures for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance.

Person Specification:

  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Service Issues.
  • Experience in maintenance and building services.
  • Excellent customer care and staff management skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

Additional Information:

  • A full UK driving licence is required.
